The 2019 Fortnite World Cup is the first iteration of the tournament announced at the E3 Party Royale Celebrity Pro-Am. Starting on April 24, 2019, each week Epic Games will be holding online qualifiers for the Fortnite World Cup 2019 on the 6 servers. Each week, players from all around the world will have a chance to win cash prizes and qualify for the Fortnite World Cup Finals.

Overview

Format

  • Stage One: Online Opens: 10 weeks of online qualifiers (13/04 to 16/06). Semi-Finals on Saturday, top 3000 players from each region advance to Finals on Sunday. 3 Hour Session, 10 Match Limit (Semi-Finals & Finals).
    • Week 1: 13/04 & 14/04 (Solo)
    • Week 2: 20/04 & 21/04 (Duo)
    • Week 3: 27/04 & 28/04 (Solo)
    • Week 4: 04/05 & 05/05 (Duo)
    • Week 5: 11/05 & 12/05 (Solo)
    • Week 6: 18/05 & 19/05 (Duo)
    • Week 7: 25/05 & 26/05 (Solo)
    • Week 8: 01/06 & 02/06 (Duo)
    • Week 9: 08/06 & 09/06 (Solo)
    • Week 10: 15/06 & 16/06 (Duo)
  • Stage Two: World Cup Finals: 26/07 & 27/07 (Solo & Duo)

Prize Pool

The prize pool for this year's Fortnite World Cup is a promised 40 million, alongside 3 million to the winner of the solos and 1.5 million for each duo.
